Garbage & Recycling
The Borough has contracted with Recycle Track Systems (RTS) for a contract with B&B Disposal Company, who continues to pick up all Garbage and Recycling at the curb.
HOLIDAYS - If your pick-up falls on a Holiday, your garbage/recycling will be picked up the next day.

CURBSIDE COLLECTION - 7AM:
Please place items at curb the night before for collection the next morning or BEFORE 7AM. B&B cannot return to your neighborhood once they have picked-up and moved on. Allowable Plastics for pick-up - #1, #2, and #5, as well as paper and cardboard.
Passaic County Solid Waste & Recycling Programs for 2022
PLEASE NOTE: There is limited assistance from the staff at the Recycling Center. You must be able to unload your items from your vehicle on your own. Thank you for your cooperation.
ITEMS ACCEPTED: tires, pallets, carpet, propane tanks, bottles, cans, plastics, cardboard (flattened), paper, electronics, metal, hard plastic, brush, branches and yard waste. Cash only - prefer exact change. Thank you.
B&B picks up at curb plastics #1, #2, and #5, as well as cardboard and paper.
Gaeta picks up at curb yard waste and vegetation in brown bags or containers weekly - no plastic bags.
Please place items at curb night before for pickup the next morning. If items aren’t placed at curb after 7 am and B&B or Gaeta has already picked up in your area, unfortunately the company will not be able to go back. Thank you.
